• 1 cup water
  • 1 tea bag(orange pekoe)
  • 1 pod green cardamom(cracked or powdered)
  • 1 clove
  • 1 inch cinnamon stick
  • 2 or 3 thin slices of fresh ginger
  • 1\4 cup milk
  • Sugar according to taste.


Boil water an tea bag, spices and ginger bring it to boil and then let it simmer for 1 to 2 Mins. Add milk and sugar, bring it to boil. Use strainer and filter the liquid into a cup and enjoy the warm, soothing and digestive chai.
